We get disappointed because our expectations are not met

So, here’s the deal. Most of the time when we are disappointed or get upset at someone else for their lack of response or action it’s because we have already created the outcome scenario in our minds. We have a pre-response in our heads. When the other person does not act or do what we assumed they would do, we get hurt or upset. This person is not the problem, you are. They did not know you had a response already fully developed in your head. They just did what they thought
